RRD P493
Remfire, *Ennobled*

"RRD Remfire P493 *Ennobled* 7/2004" is Queen Acres' first Ennobled herdsire. We obtained him at the record breaking Ryals' Dispersal Sale in West Monroe, Louisiana, in March 2007. This buck has produced some of the finest animals in the industry today. His pedigree is impeccable!

His sire is the incomparable RRD Remington M160, Ennobled, who was sired by EGGS-Ryals Magnum, Ennobled.

Remfire's dam was RRD M151, Ennobled, who died in 2003. This excellent doe was a daughter of Ennobled Top Brass and Ennobled NK L154. She came from the 5th generation of several Ennobled animals. She was definitely successful in the showring, but her greatest success came as a brood doe. Her offspring earned enough points for her to be Ennobled by the time she reached 28 months of age. Remfire's mother was the dam of RRD Bigun. She was truly an exceptional doe.

Remfire's daughter,
Ennobled RRD 865

Not only was Remfire himself the offspring of both Ennobled parents, he was also the sire of multiple show champions as well as six ennobled animals: RRD R864 ENNOBLED 3/07; Dunroamin Hurricane ENNOBLED 5/2007; CEO1 Owens T75 ENNOBLED 2/08; RRD R883 ENNOBLED 5/08; Show Me Boers Gun Runner ENNOBLED 3/09; and RRD Sure Shot T265 ENNOBLED 5/09.

In 2004, Remfire was the sire of the National Reserve Grand Champion buck (Rapid Fire), and the National Reserve Grand Champion best pair of kids. A point of interest, Rapid Fire was sold at the Showstopper sale that year for almost $30,000.

Remfire is the sire of the doe who produced RRD Ammo V704 (who has shown himself superior with over 100 points in the showring.) CEO1 V23 Double Action, an up and coming buck (a full brother to Ennobled Owens T75) is out of Remfire, too. CEO1 Owens T75, Ennobled, is a son of Remfire and was purchased by Bill and Nikki Ryals. Owens T75 placed 2nd at the 2007 ABGA Nationals and is a multiple winner of the Overall Grand Champion position at several shows. DR2 Dunroamin Hurricane, Ennobled, is a well known offspring of Remfire, and has a distinguished show record. He placed first at the 2007 National Show in the 2 year old buck position, right before Owens T75. Both are Remfire sons!

Remfire's show record is extremely impressive with many points to his credit. On his ABGA page, he has 1330 traditional points listed, with 250 unassigned points, 45 traditional points, 1285 progeny points, and 250 unassigned points. Over 200 kids have been registered to him as the sire, with more coming every day. He remains a prolific breeding buck and continues to produce some beautiful kids, even today.

Remfire has proven his ability to throw his thickness into the legs and skeletal structure of his kids. This is one of the hallmarks of his greatness, and a quality that we especially prize in his offspring. In addition, his kids are correct on all 4 corners, and his strong muscle definition always comes through for us. They usually display wide chest floors, thick tops and pretty necks and heads. They frequently have desirable twists and good pigmentation. His kids almost always have exceptional length with straight toplines. Although he has consistently sired kids with traditional color, we have been lucky enough to get some paint animals out of him with some of our does, as well.

We are happy to offer a limited amount of Ennobled Remfire semen at reasonable prices through Luke Vickrey at the Goat Factory, and through Superior Semen Works (see the Other Links page). Unfortunately, we lost the great Remfire in Nov. 2010 to old age.
