Pat and her grandson, Derreck,
in front of our show display

We bought our first Boer goats in June 2002, and started showing their progeny in the showring in 2003. We met someone special that first year in Sedalia, Missouri, who almost instantly became a dear friend of ours. She raised many quality Boer goats and beautiful show animals of her own in south central Texas. She really knew her way around a goat barn! With a friendly approach, she helped us avoid some serious mistakes and guided us along the way with our Boer goat purchases and our breeding program. Much thanks and deep appreciation go to a lovely lady and our mentor, Brenda Behring. Her extensive knowledge base, her sensible wisdom, and her kind and caring encouragement with Boer goats has been priceless, and we cannot thank her enough. Bless you, Brenda... you're the best!
